Reflection on Smart Board

Do you ever heard about Smart Board? yes? --> good. No? ---> it's fine. I never heard about it too before. The Smart Board is an interactive projection display that enables teachers and business leaders to combine a variety of learning tools, such as websites, images and videos, into a compelling lesson. The Smart Board is manufactured by Smart Technologies, a company founded in 1987 with headquarters in Alberta, Canada. Smart Technologies first unveiled the interactive board in 1991.
The Smart Board, which is available as a white board or as a display frame that fits over a plasma screen, is a touch-screen device that allows the operator to manipulate content with the tap of a finger. The Smart Board has an electronic pencil and eraser that allows users to mark up the screen, making it ideal for classroom brainstorming, PowerPoint presentations, games and Web browsing. The device also features click-and-drag capability, the ability to convert written text into type and animated dice ideal for games.

The board is colourful and dynamic, keeping children engaged during lessons. Because it allows simultaneous access to different mediums, it is a good tool to reach students of all learning styles. The projector screen is useful for classrooms that have limited computer access, allowing all students the benefit of technology.
